Andy brings a wealth of experience working with organizations that are serious about "winning." Constantly pushing himself and his teams to succeed, Andy's sense of humor and enthusiasm for life make working alongside this engaging leader both enjoyable and powerful. Since 1999, Andy has worked as a facilitator and senior consultant for clients in a variety of industries, including: software, insurance, hospitality, banking, construction, healthcare, chemical, mortgage, technology, telecom, energy, and pharmaceutical industries, among others. He has also worked with branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, the National Guard, and several U.S. government departments and agencies. Andy is a highly-rated keynote speaker and has addressed audiences worldwide, engaging clients in China, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Malaysia, Thailand, Borneo, Singapore, Germany, and Belgium.
Andy's experience owning and operating a successful business dedicated to strategic planning, web development, and instructional and graphic design, has provided him with the tools and know-how to customize each client intervention. Prior to joining FranklinCovey, Andy's service as a successful athletic coach and his tenure leading an organization of more than 500 provided ample experience applying the principles he teaches in the "real world". He continues to practice what he preaches as a partner in several other ventures.
Andy earned a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and a B.S. in teaching psychology, history, and coaching from Brigham Young University after studying design at Kansas State University.
He is a Master Gardener with a passion for homemade salsa. He enjoys coaching, motorcycling, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and making furniture. He lives near the mountains of Utah with his wife, Suzie, and their three beautiful children.
